Good foot health is especially important for older persons. The longer your feet stay healthy, the longer you can maintain an active lifestyle. We are expanding our wellness programs to include footcare.
Footcare clinics are held twice a month in two separate locations. You can have your nails trimmed and lotion applied to help keep your feet healthy!
We are unable to provide services to those with diabetes but we can arrange for an appointment with our partner, Recover Health, who will bill your medical insurance directly.

While we often say, “Age is Just a Number” there are some numbers that we really need to keep track of – blood pressure, weight and other vital signs, for example. We know that going to the doctor’s office just to get a blood pressure check can be quite a stressful and exhausting experience for many of our clients, so we have brought the clinic to the client!
Wellness Clinics are held every week at Parkway Gardens and Wilson Hi-Rise in Dayton’s Bluff, where volunteer nurses, student nurses and social workers visit with the clients. Vitals are checked, recorded and safely stored in a secure location until the next time the client visits the Clinic.
Clients who attend the Wellness Clinics regularly can monitor their own health, and the nurses can be alerted to any changes in readings, or if a client seems unusually depressed or upset. Our Clinic volunteers are trained to recognize any signs of abuse or neglect and can help the client find the resources they need.
