Ann Barnes, Treasurer
Finance Director for Commercial Markets at Blue Cross Blue Shield, Minnesota, Ann has been a financial executive in the health care industry for over 20 years. She is passionate about the issues facing seniors and committed to help provide solutions to ensure their dignity and access to health care. Ann grew up on the East Side of St. Paul. Her family has lived on the East Side for over 120 years. A member of the Women’s Health Leadership Trust, Ann chose to serve Dayton’s Bluff Seniors because she wants to make a difference in helping seniors lead independent lives. She lives by the motto: “It takes a village”.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Provides Contribution to Dayton’s Bluff Seniors on Behalf of Employee Volunteer
Ann Barnes, Treasurer, began volunteering in 2014 and has donated more than 60 hours already this year. As a volunteer, she has worked on cash flow and budgeting matters, volunteer recruitment and fundraising. We’re so glad to have her as a loyal volunteer! Because of Ann’s commitment to DBS, we received $250 in honor of her volunteering from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. As a Blue Cross employee, Ann is eligible for a Dollars for Doers contribution, which was given because she volunteered over 40 hours for Dayton’s Bluff Seniors.
