East Side Elders: neighbors helping neighbors

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a circle of care around the elders in Dayton’s Bluff, Payne-Phalen, and Conway-Battle Creek neighborhoods, empowering seniors to live safe and independent lives in their homes.

Neighbors helping neighbors:
Helping seniors stay in the home or community they want for as long as they want.

East Side Elders (formerly Dayton’s Bluff Seniors) helps seniors in Dayton’s Bluff, Payne-Phalen, and Conway-Battle Creek live full and rewarding lives — in the home and community they want — for as long as possible. Our teams of volunteers, students and community members provide a wide range of services and activities that give the necessary support and resources to our older neighbors wherever they call home.

The programs and services we offer include rides provided by volunteers, friendly visits for seniors looking for someone to talk to, Wellness Clinics where seniors can have their vital signs checked, help with raking and yard cleanup, social events, and more.  Contact us today to see how we can help you or your loved one!

Keeping our seniors healthy and safe in their homes is a key component of our mission. Clients let us know if they need help bathing, doing chores or keeping track of their finances and we can arrange a volunteer or if more skilled services are required, help them find the resources they need.

As a non profit agency, we depend on the generosity of our community and supporters so please consider making a donation today.

“You can’t help getting older, but you don’t have to get old.”
